Double Edition of the Martovski Festival in September

The Board of the Martovski Festival, at its session held on April 17, has decided that instead of the 72nd edition of the festival, originally planned for April 21–25 this year, a double edition — the 72nd/73rd Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival — will be held from September 21 to 27, 2026, at the Belgrade Youth Center, the Board announced.

The double edition of the Martovski Festival will include a selection of films chosen for 2025, as well as a selection of films submitted through the 2026 open call, to be decided by the selection committee.

Awards will be presented separately for each year, following the model of the 67th/68th double edition of the Martovski Festival.
