A multi-layered film about the poetics of Andrei Tarkovsky and the origins of his spiritual and religious mind. It combines classic scenes from Tarkovsky's films with contemporary images of former film sets and surviving heroes. The film sublimates Tarkovsky's diaries with archival and documentary footage and the auteur's memory of his collaboration with one of the greatest directors in the history of cinema. This film, filmed on the 90th anniversary of the birth of one of the greatest Russian and world filmmakers, guides the viewer through the life and work of the film genius, for whom the famous Ingmar Bergman said that his films changed his vision.
