Twenty years since the death of
MILENKO ŠTRBAC (1925-2004)
Commemorating twenty years since the death of one of our most prominent screenwriters and directors of documentary films, Milenko Štrbac, who also made three feature films, we present some of his most significant documentaries. Last year, for the 70th anniversary of the Martovski Festival, his film "The Rain of My Country" was shown, and in this retrospective, "To the Marrow of the Bone" is especially captivating. The film is about the poignant solidarity of French citizens, who gave their bone marrow to save the lives of scientists irradiated at the Vincha Institute.
