MARTOVSKI festival – Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival, one of the oldest European film festivals, marks its jubilee with the greatest achievement for the Serbian documentary, Mila Turajlić won the IDFA Award for Best Feature-Length Documentary in Amsterdam. All domestic producers and filmmakers can enter their submissions to January 15, 2018 as the latest, through www.martovski.rs.
The categories for domestic films are: documentary film with running time up to 50 minutes, documentary film with running time over 50 minutes, TV documentary film, short film, animated film, experimental film and video art.
International filmmakers and producers can submit their films for the International Competition Program in the short film category.
During the 5 Martovski Festival days, all halls of the Belgrade Youth Center (Dom omladine Beograda) will be the areas of support for domestic filmmakers, meeting points for film professionals and enthusiasts, venues for numerous screenings, workshops and lectures, places where people will have the chance to communicate, make arrangements, develop new ideas, get to know new technologies, converge opinions and exchange creative energy.
